Dear Fellow Golfer:

I like to congratulation everybody who played in the first 2011, Men’s Club Event. In true Minnesota fashion, we golfed with a little snow on the ground. There were 7 teams, a total of 22 players, braved the cold windy day and competed in an ABC scramble format.

1^st place team: Jon Weedmen, John Engler, and Tim Brosam shot a winning 62

2^nd place team: Paul Martin, Shawn Ruthford, and Aaron Neumann shot a 63

3^rd place team: Kyle Stoleson, Dennis Harty, and Noel Ringold shot a 65

In Addition, we are having our first annual Men’s Club “Season Long Match-Play” Event. If you’re interested in competing against your fellow Men’s Club members -- Sign-up at the CreeksBend Pro-Shop – we are taking the first 16 players plus alternates!

16 Players plus alternates

Sign-up begins on 28 March and ends on 22 April, 2011

**Match Play Event starts 1 May, 2011

** Each Match will have one month to complete their assigned matches for example:

Match 1: 1 May – 30 May, 2011

The winners of Match 1 will then be paired-up to play the winner of Match 2

Then you will have one month to complete this match

Winners of Match 1 & Match 2 example: 1 June – 30 June, 2011

Remember, if you are participating in the Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday leagues, you are automatically a Men’s Club member and can compete in any Men’s Club event.

We encourage everyone to take advantage and participate in the Men’s Club events. We will be sending out additional information and reminders pertaining to upcoming golf events, this way you can plan accordingly.
